Nelda Baumgardner Cox, age 60, of Brownwood passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 9, 1959, to Robert and Ada (Graves) Baumgardner in Odessa, Texas.
Graveside Services for Nelda will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2019, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery with Pastor Ron Keener officiating. No visitation will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Nelda is survived by her 2 daughters, Rozy Miller and husband Taylor of Brownwood, Monique Gresham and very good friend Carlos Carbajal Jr. of Brownwood; 5 grandchildren, Mark Ledesma III, Avianna C. Ledesma, Ramesses Ledesma, Sebastian Miller, Khons Ledesma; brother, Robert Baumgardner and wife Karen of North Lake Brownwood; and sister, Kathy Hyden and husband Leon of Early. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister, Sheila Davis; 1 brother, Richard Baumgardner, 2 nephews, Perry Davis Jr. and Joey Hyden; and great-nephew, Zachary Melder.
