CraddockNealNeal Coby Craddock, born on April 10, 1967 in Dublin, Texas, left this earth to be with God, friends and family members in Heaven on April 26, 2014.

He is survived by his daughter, Chandra Crawford and husband T.J. Crawford, his grandson, Connor Crawford and unborn grandchild, all of Brownwood, his parents, Modell Kinsey of Brownwood and Dalton Craddock, of Dublin, brothers and sisters:  Danny Craddock and wife Marisa of Bangs, Mary Idaho of Austin, Randy Craddock and wife, Lisa of Bangs, Sherry French of Brownwood , Gary Craddock and wife Crystal of Bangs, Crystie Kinsey Lishka and husband Terry Lishka of Brownwood, Kathy Davis and husband John Davis of Rising Star, Karen Lyon of Brownwood, Melissa Steelman and husband Terry Steelman of Merkel, a great many nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his stepfather, William Bert Kinsey and stepmother Monie Craddock.

Neal is best known for his amazing talent on the guitar, playing music by ear, song-writing and extensive knowledge in music; however, he was also an amazing person with many other special talents and traits.  In addition to his mind-blowing music talent, he had a quick wit and wonderful sense of humor, always making people laugh.  He had an extremely creative and open mind.  He loved and respected all people, young and old, was never the type to pass judgment and accepted others as the individuals they were created to be.  He had a gift with people, especially children.  He always took time to play games with them and teach them songs on the guitar; therefore, many were inspired and learned to play because of him.

Neal may have lost his battle with cancer, but he has beat this world and moved on to a place better suited for such an amazing soul.  Neal is very loved and words cannot describe how greatly he will be missed.

Friends, family and anyone inspired by Neal are invited to join together for an informal celebration of Neal’s life on Saturday, May 3, 2014 beginning at 2:00pm and ending at 4:00pm, at 3500 FM 2125 just outside of Brownwood, Texas.  We ask that instead of sending flowers, please donate to Walker Cancer Center and Cancer Centers of America.
