Memorial services for Nathan Wayne Henson, 37, of Bangs will be Saturday, May 24, 2014, at 2:00pm at Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Brandon Fagan officiating. Nathan passed away Friday, May 16, 2014 in Coleman County. Nathan’s body will be cremated. There will be no family visitation night and it has been requested to please dress casual for the memorial services.
Nathan Wayne Henson was born Jan. 27, 1977 in Brownwood to Melvin and Debra Kimmell Henson of May. He attended May High School where he graduated in 1995. Nathan also attended Cisco Jr. College for about 1 ½ years. He worked for CMI/ Ross Company for a couple of years in the finishing crew and worked at Kohler Company for the last 12 years as a PC Fab Foreman and a hourly Robot Tech. Nathan loved his work, but his passion was his little girl Heather.
Nathan’s favorite pastime was spending time with his daughter. He also loved to fish, hunt, and restore old cars and buying and trading guns. He was a very kind-hearted, generous man and beloved by his friends and family.
Survivors include his daughter Heather LeAnn Henson, his father Melvin Henson of the Okra Community, one sister Jessica Henson Williams and husband Chris of Brownwood, one nephew Payton Williams of Brownwood, Aunt Nelda Kimmell of Okra Community, Uncle Jimmy Kimmell of Carbon, Tx, and three Aunts, Ruth Smith and husband Gerome of Holder Area , Wanda Richardson and husband Jim of Rhome, Tx and Jolene Boatman and husband Sammy of Comanche, Tx , one cousin Marlon Chaney and numerous cousins.
Nathan is preceded in death by his mother Debra Henson.
In lieu of flowers an account has been set up at Texas Bank for Heather Henson.
