Funeral Services for Nancy Beck, age 69, of Brownwood will be held Monday, May 14, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Skaggs and Bill Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. She passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012 in Ft. Worth, Texas. Nancy was born on November 23, 1942 in Brownwood to Andrew Jackson and Vivian Aretta (Rutledge) Myers.
Nancy married Darold Beck, Sr. on September 26, 1961 in Cleburne, Texas. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a long-time member of Coggin Avenue Baptist Church. Nancy was also a former member secretary of ABWA, Brownwood Art Association, and Lake Brownwood Volunteer Dam Quilting Group. She enjoyed quilting, painting, and gardening.
Survivors include husband, Darold Beck Sr. of Brownwood; 1 daughter, Brenda Johnson and husband William of Brownwood; 2 sons, Darold Beck Jr. and wife Ginger of Brownwood, Michael Beck and wife Teana of Brownwood; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
