A Memorial Service for Nancy Dewbre, age 60, of Brownwood will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
Nancy passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016, at home.
Nancy was born on July 13, 1956, in Keene Valley, New York, and raised by loving parents Robert and Myrtle Jones. She received her Bachelor’s from University of West Florida. Nancy was a Social Worker and Administrator at a number of different nursing homes in and around Brownwood and Bronte for many years. Nancy adored and loved her husband and family. She enjoyed gardening and cooking in her free time.
Nancy is survived by her two sons, Chris and Robert Dewbre both of College Station; father, Ret. Lt. Colonel Robert Jones of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; sister, Peggy Jones of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; sister-in-laws, Connie Dewbre and Reida Dewbre; and mother-in-law, Tommie Dewbre of Brownwood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Felton Dewbre; and mother, Myrtle Jones.
