Funeral services for Nadine Fain, age 88, of Lake Brownwood, Texas will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Lynn Schumacher officiating. Interment will follow in the Bangs Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Fain passed away Wednesday at her residence.
Elsie Nadine was born on February 23, 1930 in Texalo, Oklahoma to David and Florence Casey. She married Bill Fain at the Lake Brownwood Baptist Church on September 6, 2009. Nadine was an accomplished guitar player and enjoyed playing and singing at many community events throughout her life. She also enjoyed flowers, gardening and participating in the church choir.
Survivors include her husband Bill Fain; granddaughter Alicia Logan; sister Carol Martin; brothers Robert Paul and Donald Ray Casey; step children Susan and Lynn Schumacher, Gary and Beverly Fain, and Dale and Kathleen Fain.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gene Stephens; sons Larry Wayne Snell; daughter Vicki Lorraine Logan and sisters Johnette and Kathleen.
Heartland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
