Mr. Billy Gene Baker Sr. 76 years old of Coleman passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 in the Coleman County Medical Center.
Billy was born November 13, 1935 in Santa Anna to Melvin Olen Baker & Velma Leona Abner Baker. He married Juanita Crowder on June 10, 1955 in Coleman, was a member of the Assembly of God Church, an Electrician and Fire Fighter.
Survivors include his loving wife; Juanita, 4 sons and daughters in law: Billy Gene II & Mary Ann Baker of Lake Brownwood, Jerry & Kathlene Baker of Houston, Ricky Lynn Baker of Coleman, and Sammy Curtis & Tina Marie Baker of Abilene, 1 sister; Doreen Gee of Salinas, California, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the funeral home from 10:00 until 11:00 AM. Interment Service will be Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Marvin Hale officiating. Interment will be under the direction of Walker Funeral Home.
