The Heart of Texas Free-Mo meet will be held in Brownwood on April 5th and 6th at the Depot Civic and Cultural Center and the Lehnis Railroad Museum.

Numerous Free-Mo model railroading modules will all come together to form one large, room-sized operation layout.  The modules all meet one specific standard to allow everyone to connect their module or modules to those of another person, club or group. There will be numerous types and models in operation throughout the event.

The North Texas Free-Mo is a large group of model railroaders in the Fort Worth & Dallas area.  They will transport their modules to join up with the Brownwood Lehnis Heart of Texas Model Railroad club.  Adding to that will be the individual modules of other railroaders coming in from around Texas and Oklahoma.

Operating hours will be Saturday 9 AM – 5 PM and Sunday Noon to 4 PM.

Coming along with the modules will be the action group “Leads and Lace.”  They are an 18th century reenacting company.    The will “dual it out” on the trains and at the Kress Depot.
