Brown County emergency responders were called to a mobile home fire Monday evening resulting damage to the home but no injuries.
At approximately 6:30 PM, a woman called 9-1-1 reporting that her home was on fire. Those first on scene stated that half of the home was on fire at that time. Although there were occupants home at the time of the fire, all escaped without injury.
The damage to the interior of the home was significant, with heavy smoke damage seen on the windows.
Lake Bridge Volunteer Fire Department, Lake Dam Volunteer Fire Department, and Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to the fire.
Brownwood Fire Marshal Buddy Preston was on scene Monday evening investigating after the fire was extinguished.
