Mitchell A. Jones, age 72, of Brownwood passed away Monday, July 14, 2014 in San Saba.
Mitchell was born on July 12, 1942 to Eluid and Bernice (Reed) Jones in Big Springs, Texas. He graduated from Big Springs High School. After high school, he attended and graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelors degree. Mitchell served in the United States Air Force for four years. He married Carol Bussell on December 21, 1985. He retired from Texas Department of Human Services.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Carol Jones of Brownwood; and several cousins in Big Spring. He was preceded in death by his parents.
