Minnie R. Marquez, age 71, passed away to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on September 28, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 1, 2013(today), at Davis-Morris Funeral Home in Brownwood with Father Francis Njoku officiating. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood. Visitation was held on Monday at Davis-Morris.
Minnie was born on August 20, 1942, in Lott, Texas, to Ramiro Ramos and Delores Hernandez Ramos.
Minnie is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard C. Marquez of Brownwood; daughters, Judy Ortega and husband Michael of Fredericksburg, Texas, and Margie Pena and husband Johnny of Brownwood; sons, Freddie Marquez and wife Maria of Dallas, Texas, and Richard Marquez Jr. and wife Michelle of Terrell, Texas; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
