The Brownwood High School Band competed at the Area D – UIL Marching Band Contest, Saturday, October 25th in Cedar Park, Texas.
The band marched in the preliminary competition and was selected by the contest judges as one of the top 10 bands to advance to the finals.“The BHS Band marched their best show of the year in the finals,” said BHS Band Director, David Lambert, adding that though the band did very well, they did not advance to state. “Congratulations to the band on placing in the top 10 at Area and representing Brownwood with pride.”
