Coach Kennedy submitted the following report:
Monday night the Lady Cubs lost thriller to Sweetwater in 3 games.
The Lady Cubs won the first game 25-22 and lost the 2nd game 18-25. In the 3rd game the Lady Cubs were down 5-12 and fought hard to come back but lost 26-28.
The Lady Cubs had several bump set hits and did a great job digging Sweetwater’s hits.
The top scorers for the match were Shelby Honea with 8 points and Abby Day with 7 points. Also scoring were Alyson Finnigan with 5 points, Alezis Mosqueda with 4 points, Madeline Reigle, Brittany Everett with 3 points each, and Naomi Rosatto and Alez Bernal with 1 point each.
The Lady Cubs will be in action again on Monday at Breckenridge.
