A graveside service Mickey Ray (Mike) Ratliff, age 72, of Brownwood, Texas will be held 2:00 PM Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Greenleaf Cemetery under the direction of the Heartland Funeral Home. He passed away Monday, June 10, 2013 in a local nursing home.
Mike was born on January 11, 1941 in Brownwood, Texas to George Raymond and Mattie Allen Ratliff. He was a graduate of Brownwood High School. Mike was employed by the American Tobacco Company for 25 years in Dallas, Texas and retired early due to his health.
Survivors include his children Scotty Jacobs, Robby Ratliff and Tammy Ratliff. One Aunt Betty Ratliff Gorden and husband Jack of Brownwood and by several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son Mickey Ratliff, Jr., his father Raymond Ratliff; his mother Mattie Lee (Allen) Ratliff; grandparents R. Homer Ratliff, Winnie Mae Ratliff, Monroe Allen and Lillie Allen
Heartland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
