Michael Savage, 57 of Bangs, passed away Thursday, October 11th, 2018 at his home. Graveside services will be held Saturday October 20, 2018 at 11am at the Bangs Cemetery in Bangs. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8pm at the Brownwood Funeral Home Chapel.
Michael was born June 25, 1961 in Commerce, Texas to Bobbie Crosby and Buster Greer. Michael received his primary education from Commerce Schools graduating in 1980. He began working at East Texas State after graduation and worked there for several years. In 1996 Michael relocated to Bangs TX, he was currently employed at the Bangs Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, and previously El Jimador Restaurant in Bangs and Humphrey Pete’s in Brownwood.
Michael loved listening to Michael Jackson, watching Bruce Lee Movies, Working, and playing with his great, nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by father Buster Greer, Maternal and Paternal Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, Cousins and a nephew.
Left to cherish his memories are Mother, Bobbie Crosby, husband Lawerence of Bangs, son Joseph Hawthorne of Brownwood, sisters; Chandice Hatley of Bangs, Camille Moss and husband Stevie of Bangs, Kellie Kirven of Bangs, brothers; Ricky Savage of Bangs, Marcus Savage of Desoto TX, Kenneth Crosby and wife LaShandra of bangs, and a host of extended family and many friends.
