Funeral Services for Michael John Wargo, age 45, of Dallas, formerly of Brownwood, will be held Thursday November 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brownwood with Reverend Benedict Zientek officiating, interment to follow at Greenleaf Cemetery. Visitation and a rosary will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel. He passed away Saturday November 05, 2011 in Dallas, Texas.
Michael was born on May 07, 1966 in Lakewood, Ohio to Thomas J. and Janet M. (Wissman) Wargo.
He married Linda Ponce on December 17, 1988 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brownwood, Texas; he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and was an active member of St. Mary’s’ Catholic Church while living in Brownwood, and was also an active member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Dallas.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Linda Wargo; and his mother; Janet Wargo of New London, Ohio; 2 daughters, Leslie Redfern of Brownwood, Estella Manriquez and husband Jorge of Dallas; 4 grandchildren, Danielle Badillo, Anna Redfern, Michael Manriquez, and Jacob Manriquez; 5 brothers and their spouses, Kurt and Margaret Wargo, Steven and Karen Wargo, Gregory and Connie Wargo, Andrew and Theresa Wargo, and James J. Wargo; 2 sisters, Sharon Anderson and husband Dave, and Diane Lambert and husband Earl; and several nieces and nephews.
Michael is preceded in death by his father, Thomas J. Wargo, and a niece, Sarah R. Wargo.
