Michael R. Holland, age 57, of Brownwood, Texas, formerly of San Diego, Calif., passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 24, 2011, in Brownwood.
Michael was born May 4, 1953, in San Diego, Calif., to Melvin Ray and Theresa Dease Holland, who preceded him in death. On March 4, 2003, he was married to Donna Rose Holland in Laughlin, Nev. He had owned and operated his own trucking company that allowed him to travel throughout the USA. Michael enjoyed traveling, bowling, baseball and loved to sing. He also was a member of the Poetry Society and had many poems published.
