Michael Anthony Wright, 43, was given a second chance at life after being in a motorcycle accident which had caused some major head injuries in 2016, but with therapy, Michael was able to join society again. He was just beginning to get on his feet again with the help of his Mom and Dad. Needless to say we were all so proud of him. Michael still had so much to give, but he was needed by our Lord. Our Lord blessed us with 43 years of joy, pain, happiness, sadness, kindness, fulfillment, heartache, but most of all love and blessings because Michael had chosen us to be part of his life.

Michael was called home to be with our Lord on July, 6th 2019. He died unexpectedly at his home in Brownwood.

Michael was a beloved father to Alya Wright of Brownwood, Michael Wright Jr., and Alyssa Wright of Kerrville, and he was blessed to be a Grandad to his grandson Mason of Kerrville. Michael is the son of Steve and Juanita (Maldonado) Wright of Brownwood, and a brother to Bridget Fragua of Brownwood. He was adored by his nieces Krista Fragua, Presley Hall, and his nephews Scout Fragua, and Hudson Hall. Michael is the grandson of Inez Maldonado, and the late Julia Nolasco Maldonado. He is the grandson to the late Darlene Inglet of Oklahoma, and the late Mitch Osbourne of Mississippi, and his wife Martha. Michael has numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins that loved him, and that will miss him dearly.

Michael graduated from Brownwood High School in 1994 and went on to learn many different skills that would lead him to several different career paths throughout the years. Michael worked at Kohler, did paint and body work as his Dad, graphic designing for the sign shop, and for Danhil Containers.  At the time of his passing, he was employed by The Oasis Body Shop.  Michael enjoyed coin collecting spending time with family, and friends and he never shied away from the girls. Michael felt at his best when he would crank up his motorcycle, and take a ride. Michael had his faults in the past, but he was a changed man, and was truly a Godly man who would speak the scripture to anyone who was willing to listen. Michael you’re contagious laugh, beautiful eyes, and your funny smirk will be missed every day of our lives. Until we meet again my friend ,my son ,my brother ,my grandson ,my nephew, my uncle, my dad ,we love you.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. The funeral will be Thursday at 2:00 PM, July 11, 2019, and burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park.

Our most sincere Gratitude to all of those who have had us in their thoughts and prayers, and to those who have made generous contributions to help pay for the cost of Michael’s burial.
