Brownwood News – Howard Payne University invites the public to a memorial service for Sara Baker, retired faculty member in HPU’s Department of Music, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27. The service will be held at Grace Chapel, located at the Paul and Jane Meyer Faith and Life Leadership Center on the HPU campus.
Baker passed away on January 29, 2019, in Granbury. She was 89. She and her husband, the late Dr. George Baker, had long, distinguished careers as members of HPU’s music faculty.
