Melford Monroe Seawright of Hewitt passed away Friday, January 7, 2011. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 12, at Oakwood Cemetery with Mr. David Rogers officiating.
Melford was born January 11, 1941 in Elm Mott, TX to Alton Melford Seawright and Ola Wilson Seawright. He was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church of Waco.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ola Wilson and brother, Daryl Seawright.
He is survived by his father, Alton Melford Seawright; his sons, Melford Monroe Seawright, Jr. and wife, Joni, of Hewitt; Ronnie Wright and wife, Shannon, of Dallas County; James Melford Seawright and Kristy of New Orleans, La; 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; his sister, Mary Rogers and husband, Ben; and his brother, Larry Wilson.
