Meina Emilee Lehman, age 97, of Thrifty died Saturday at the Brownwood Nursing and Rehab Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday at the Rocky Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Justice and Rev. Ruben Packard officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 am until service time at the church. Burial will follow in the Rocky Creek Cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
She was born April 6, 1913 in Carmine, Texas the daughter of the late Fritz Heinrich and Bertha Sauer Lehman. She married Herman Willie Lehman in Travis County on August 6, 1941. She was a member of the Rocky Creek Baptist Church and had lived in Brown County since 1941.
She is survived by 4 Sons –
Wilford Lehman and wife Luetta of Brownwood
Lewis Lehman and wife Debra of Brownwood
Travis Lehman and wife Doris Jean of Bangs
Terry Lehman and wife Cathie of Brownwood
7 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild also survive as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and a granddaughter.
