Press Release – Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is pleased to announce it has been selected to provide inmate programming at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) Havins Unit in Brownwood. MTC will provide an intensive therapeutic community substance abuse treatment program that will give offenders the tools needed to manage their addictions as they transition back into their communities.

Our primary goal is to prepare incarcerated men and women to become contributing members of society after release.”
The Havins Unit serves 576 male offenders. The contract will be for eight years with a two-year base and three, two-year options.

TDCJ also awarded MTC nine other programming contracts at state-run prisons throughout Texas. With the addition of these ten new programming contracts, MTC will provide rehabilitation programs at 13 TDCJ prisons—serving more than 8,000 Texas offenders.

MTC was also awarded contracts to operate the Lindsey State Jail in Jack County and Bradshaw State Jail in Rusk County, also effective September 1.
