The all new McDonald’s restaurant held a grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration on Thursday, June 17th to commemorate the opening of their new building. The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce, Chamber Ambassadors, employees, customers, and Ronald McDonald himself were all on hand for the celebration.
The new building, located at 204 E. Commerce, features an updated look, enclosed playground area, and dual drive-thru lanes, televisions, touch screen games, and much more. The new restaurant has been packed with customers since it opened for business last week.
The Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting during the event which was attended by the Chamber Ambassadors and members, Owner/Operator Eric Wilson, and Ronald McDonald with his friends.
Wilson said that the opening of the store was one of the biggest in the region.
