Our Dear Mother went to her Heavenly Home on July 5, 2012 in Brownwood, Texas.
She was born January 12, 1917 to Mae McBride and Richard N. Cummings in Mena Arkansas. Maymie married Rev. Frank Taylor on August 11, 1938 in Lamesa, Texas, they lived many years in Santa Anna.
Frank Preceded her in death in October of 2007. Also preceding her in death were her parents, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, a son; Billy Frank Taylor, and 2 grandsons; Frankie James and Bryant Jeffery Hamlin.
Survivors include: 2 daughters and sons in law; Etta & Joel Hamlin of Cross Plains, and Jean & John Ambrosek of Bangs, 2 grandsons and their families; Brent Hamlin and Terry Hamlin, 3 granddaughters and their families; Rhonda Rhoades, Cindy Foster Caine, and Johnna Louden, 7 great grandsons, 3 great granddaughters, 4 great great grandsons, 3 great great granddaughters, Many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was a member of the Heaven of Hope Church in Brownwood. Maymie was married to her husband Frank for 68 years, during which time she helped him in his many services for churches where he was Pastor. She also worked at Ranger Park Inn in Santa Anna for over 30 years. She was a wife, mother, and grandmother to all in her family. Visitation will be Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Walker Funeral Home in Coleman.
Funeral Service will be Monday, July 9, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. In the Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marvin Hale, Rev. Brian Hall, and Rev. Kelly Crenshaw officiating.
