A fundraiser called For the Love of Lindsey is being organized for Lindsey Woods, former May resident on Sunday, January 27th beginning at 12:00 noon.
Lindsey Woods is the wife of Chuck Woods, mother of three, and daughter-in-law if Charles and Barbara Woods. She is facing pancreas transplant surgery, according to organizers, and expenses are mounting.
The May community wants to help and is hosting the fundraiser at the First United Methodist Church in May, Texas. There will be a spaghetti supper and a country store with crafts and other homemade items for sale. Monetary donations to help Woods will be accepted at this time or can be mailed to the May United Methodist Church for Lindsey Woods, P.O. Box 133 May, Tx 76857.
