Maurine Seidenberger Russell, 90, of Bangs, Texas, passed away January 17, 2011 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be Wednesday January 19, 2011 from 5-7 PM at Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas.
Rosary services will be held Thursday January 20, 2011 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church,
St. Lawrence, Texas at 6:30 PM.
Funeral services will be Friday January 21, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the St. Lawrence Cemetery.
She was born in Moulton, Texas to Otto and Lillian Hoepfl on March 24, 1920. She married Herbert Seidenberger in Hermleigh, Texas in 1941, and together they had 5 children. Later she married H.A. Russell of Early, Texas.
Maurine is preceded in death by her eldest son, Gary Seidenberger and husband H.A. Russell.
Maurine is survived by her two sons Mike Seidenberger of Brownwood, Texas and Dr. Steve Seidenberger and spouse Ronda of Salina, Oklahoma; two daughters Sandra Wilde and spouse Floyd, of St. Lawrence, Texas and Becky Hanophy and spouse Jim of Hurst, Texas; daughter-in-law Linda Seidenberger Reeh of San Angelo, Texas.
Also surviving is Herbert Seidenberger and three sisters Lillian Long, JoAnn Cagle, and Shirley Keen, 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren with another great-granddaughter expected any day.
Mrs. Russell was a resident of Brown County for 36 years and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Her love of family spanned over four generations. She was an inspiration to her family and will be missed by many.
