Customers Invited to Vote for Nonprofit Recipient of $500 Gift

In honor of Maurices’ one-year anniversary in Brownwood, located in Commerce Square, the store is inviting people to stop by to vote for their favorite local charity from February 1st to Friday, March 16th. The charity that receives the most votes will receive a $500 donation from Maurices, a nationwide clothing store for young women, known for trendy fashions that don’t break the bank.
“Being part of this community has been terrific,” said Maurices Store Manger Chelsi Martin. “We appreciate the warm reception and truly value all of the new friends we’ve made in our store this past year. This is one way we can say ‘thanks,’ and we hope customers enjoy the opportunity to determine which charity will receive the donation.”
