A memorial service for Mary Von Hosek, age 87, of Brownwood, Texas will be held 4 pm Sunday at the Haven of Hope Church in Brownwood. Interment will be held 10 am Monday at the Salt Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:30 pm – 3:30 Pm Sunday at the Heartland Funeral Home . Mrs. Hosek passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018 in Brownwood.
Mary was born on August 29, 1931 in Brown County to Jerry and Mary Elizabeth Faulkner Barton and was married to Joe Hosek in Brownwood in 1954. She was a homemaker and attended St. Marys Catholic Church.
Survivors include her son Joe Hosek of Brownwood and a sister Frances Browning of North Richland Hills.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, a infant son Daniel, Sisters Violet R. Cathey and Chlorine Fisher and her brothers William and Jerry Barton.
