Funeral services for Mary Ellen Minica Croom will be Friday April 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel, interment will follow in the Varga Chapel Cemetery in San Saba County. Visitation will be Thursday March 31, 2011 from 6-8 PM. at the funeral home.
Mary was born April 21, 1924 in May, Texas to Walter and Mary Eva Minica. She went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ Monday, March 28, 2011 at 10:45 PM at the Hospice House in Odessa, Texas.
Mary is survived by her children; daughter Peggy L. and husband Crespin Tijerina Jr. of Odessa, Texas, son Joe L. and wife Deborah L. Croom of Cleburne, Texas. She Is also survived by twelve grandchildren , twenty five great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.Mrs Croom is preceded in death by her husband L.A. Croom after fifty six years of marriage, a daughter Barbara E. Jordan, two sons Walter Croom and David L. Croom.
