Mary Blanche was born on August 4, 1924 in Brown County, Texas to George Thomas and Katie Sandol Martin Lovelace. Her family was early Brown County pioneer family.
She had been a resident of Arlington for the past forty five years and was employed by the University of Texas at Arlington for ten years and had also been a hairdresser. She was a talented seamstress, musician and played the piano and the guitar.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Brothers- Martin, Reuben and Benny Lovelace; sisters- Frances Johnson, Otie Cason and by two infant sisters.
