Funeral Services for Mary Ann Alexander, age 70, of Brownwood, Texas will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Heartland Funeral Home with Ruben Packer officiating. Interment will follow at the Bangs Cemetery. Mrs. Alexander passed away Thursday in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Alexander was born on April 1, 1941 in Brownwood to Lee and Annie Mae Stembridge Bond. On, June 16, 1961 she married Guy Alexander in Santa Anna Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Victory Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Guy Alexander of Brownwood; daughters, Paula Hudgens and husband Ricky of Andrews, Texas; and Shelly Alexander of Amarillo, TX; sons, Gregory Guy Alexander and wife Mary Ellen of Kermit, Texas; and Rex Harrell Alexander and wife Susan of Andrews; brother, Jimmy Bond; sister, Nelda Emerick; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ernest, Dalton, Jessie Ray and Jody Bond and a sister Barbara Moore.
