Mary Amelia Hernandez, age 92, of Brownwood and formerly of Dallas passed from this life on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
She was born November 14, 1926 in Marlin, Texas the daughter of E. Herminio Hernandez and Maria Dela Cruz Hernandez. She was married to Daniel L. Hernandez on July 19, 1946. Following high school, she completed some college courses. She was a florist and loved to make beautiful flowers and accessories. She was a Catholic. She had been a resident of Brownwood for the past several years.
She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters and is survived by her nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am Friday in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Father Francis Njuko officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM in the Mart Cemetery, Mart, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 PM on Thursday with a rosary recited at 7 PM at Davis-Morris.
