FaulknerMarvinGraveside funeral services for Marvin E. Faulkner, age 91, of Midland formerly of May, Texas will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery under the direction of the Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas. He passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 3rd at Heartland Funeral Home from 6pm until 8pm.

Marvin Elvin Faulkner was born on April 11, 1919 in Clarksville, Texas to Calvin and Alice Mitchell Faulkner. On March 5, 1940 he married Evaline Wilkins in Clarksville, Texas. Mr. Faulkner served in the U.S. Army during WW II and was a retired mechanic.

Survivors: Poochie his beloved dog and companion for over 13 years.

James Faulkner and wife Moenetta of Midland, Texas;

Kay Hendrix, Cathy Tremmel and husband Hermann, Brenda Parum and husband Lucky,

Mary Reeves and husband Leroy, all of Midland, TX,

And stepdaughter Darlene Burch-Frey of Buchanan, TX;

22 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, 23 great-great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents Calvin and Alice Faulkner, daughter, Jeanette Faulkner, wife, Evaline Faulkner, son, Marvin H. Faulkner, granddaughters, Melissa Bell and Becky Ward, brothers, John Louis Faulkner, Clarance Roberts, sisters, Minnie Erving and Stella May Hanley.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Home Hospice of Midland, especially Tammy, who always provoked a smile and much appreciation from Marvin and the family. Dr. Watkins, Dr. Corwin, and Allison Cancer Center for all their love, care and support to Marvin and the family. Also, a special thanks to Doyletta Davis, a priceless friend who provided much comfort and companionship. To Marie, Don, and Bull Faulkner for the great care you gave Pa ,Thank you.
