InglehartMarvinMarvin Douglas Iglehart, age 62, of Tamarack Mountain, North Lake Brownwood, Texas died Monday night at his home following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Friday at the North Lake Community Church with Pastor Charlie Fortenberry officiating. Burial with military honors will be held at 3 PM Friday in the Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early. Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Marvin was born July 12, 1948 in Colorado City, Texas the son of Haywood Paul and Ellie Cherry Iglehart. He graduated from Colorado City High School and later married Carol Bennett in Hampton, Virginia on March 27, 1971. He served in the U. S. Navy aboard the USS Independence during the Viet Nam Conflict. He worked as a pumper for Southwest Royalties until his health forced him to retire. He and his wife then moved to Lake Brownwood where they have lived for the past 5 years moving from Snyder.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Iglehart of North Lake Brownwood; two sons and their families – Jody Douglas Iglehart and his wife Tracey of Snyder and their children, Justin, Jacey, and Jade
and Todd Wesley Iglehart and his wife Karrah of Ozona and their children, Kenadi and Konner; his sister, Mary Proctor and husband George Brian Proctor of Colorado City; a Sister-in-law, Charla Iglehart of Fort Worth and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law, Lonnie Bennett, a brother Wesley Iglegart and a niece, Tammy Proctor.

Memorials are requested to be made to the American Cancer Society or the Liver Foundation.
