Martha Babbitt Thompson, age 72, of Frisco formerly of Brownwood went to her eternal home on Sunday, June 18, 2017.

Graveside Services for Martha will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Eastlawn Memorial Park with Richard Hetzel officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.

Martha was born to Charles and Norma (Adams) Babbitt on June 29, 1944, in Brownwood. She graduated from Brownwood High in 1963. Martha was a District Court Bailiff in Oklahoma for a number of years and served as the Deputy Clerk in Collin County for a time. She loved painting and drawing in her free time, but most of all she loved her grandkids and spending time with her family.

Martha is survived by her sons, Randy Thompson and wife Darcy of Frisco, Terry Thompson and wife Darcy Ann of Frisco; grandchildren, Matt, Ryan, Alexis, and Justin; sisters, Shirley Treadway and husband Kenneth of Brownwood, Betty Ellis and husband Joe of Arlington, Rhonda Harrison and husband Bubba of San Antonio; brother, Jimmy Babbitt and wife Meriann of San Antonio; and her special dog, Bippie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Bobbie Bradshaw, Mary Paul, Brenda Harvey, and Debbie Rauschuber; and step-father, Leroy Janner.
