Brown County Water Improvement District welcomed newly hired lake patrol officer Kelly Marsh during Tuesday’s meeting of the board of directors.
BCWID General Counsel Henry W. McGowen administered the Oath of Office to Marsh.
Marsh has 8 years law enforcement experience and was employed for the past 7.5 years with Brown County Sheriff’s Office. He had also served as a security officer at Tarleton State University prior to joining BCSO. Originally from Abilene, Marsh came to Brownwood to attend Howard Payne University where he obtained a degree in 2003 and has lived in the area ever since.General Manger Dennis Spinks stated that Marsh also has some training in diesel mechanics.
