Marge was born in Oklahoma City on May 20, 1921 to John and Lydia (“Sweetie”) Thompson. She graduated from Brownwood High School in 1939 and attended Tarleton Junior College. She was married for 28 years to Jack T. Bradley, and their family lived in many areas of the U.S. and Europe while Jack traveled as an Air Force Officer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Rosemary Mclnnis of Brownwood, and her son Joe Bradley of Austin. Survivors include her son Nick and wife Pam Bradley of Austin, daughter Janice Garrett and husband Bob of Brownwood, brother John and wife Joyce of Aledo, and grandchildren David and Lisa Bradley of Austin, Dana and Daryl Kunik of Austin, and Jeff and Monica Garrett of Spring. Marge’s great- grandchildren Dylan and Tyler Bradley, and Maddox and Reese Kunik provided great joy and pleasure to her. Her sister Rosemary’s children J. Lehn, Mike and Kathy Mclnnis were also paramount in her life.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015 at 3:00 pm at First United Methodist Church in Brownwood.
