Margie Ruth Tobey age 87, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 4, 2013.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 7th, from 9 AM to 10 AM at Davis-Morris Funeral Home in Brownwood. Graveside service will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery Tuesday, May 7th, at 11 AM.
Margie was born April 12, 1926, in Portales, New Mexico to Rev. E.C. Tobey and Nettie Bell Tobey. She is survived by her son, William Conway Jones and his wife Tina; granddaughter, Angenette Tobey Ostrom and husband Dallas; brothers, Col. Chester Tobey and wife Vivian, Earnest D. Tobey and numerous nieces and nephews.
Margie passed away after a lengthy illness at the Granite Mesa Nursing home in Marble Falls, Texas. She has lived in Brownwood, Texas for over 74 years in the family home. She loved her Lord and served Him with all her heart. She has now transferred her membership from the church militant to the church triumphant.
