Margaurette Elaine Nunley of Brownwood/Early Texas, formerly of
Margaurette played the organ and piano in church from the time she was a young girl of about 12 years old and continued until 2009 when hearing and eyesight made it difficult for her to continue. She was active in her church all her adult life and taught Sunday School as well as being involved in the music program and other activities in the church. She was a great inspiration to her family and those about her. She never passed up the opportunity to help someone in need.
She worked for Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home where she retired after over 35 years of service as receptionist/organist. She always referred to her employers as the best anywhere in the world.

She was welcomed home in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, along with a host of friends and relatives which includes her parents, 4 brothers and one sister, 1 daughter Patricia (Patti) King, and one granddaughter, George Anne Bridges., one step-son Terry Nunley and his wife Peg.
She is survived by one son, Robert Allen Barr, Jr. of Hawley and two daughters Barbara (Bobbye) Martin and husband Cleo of Brownwood, and Robbie Rogers and husband E.V. of
Surviving Grandchildren, are Jimmy, David and Shawn Ellis of
Rodney King of Lubbock and Stephen King of Haskell. Jessica Armstrong of
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Rocky Creek Baptist Church near Lake Brownwood, Texas with Rev. Ric Justice officiating. Family Visitation will be held
Burial will be held 5:00 P.M. Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, Texas under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas.
