Margaret Smith, age 73, of Brownwood formerly of Arkansas, passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 in Ft. Worth.
Visitation for Margaret will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening, April 23, 2015 at Blaylock Funeral Home. Private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
Margaret was born on September 18, 1941 to Raymond Lee and Rosie Marie (Jones) Clary in Coal Hill, Arkansas. She married the love of her life, Dean Smith, on November 26, 1965 in Artesia, New Mexico; they would have celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary this November. Margaret was a Baptist.Margaret is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dean Smith of Arkansas; daughter, Melanie Pancake of Brownwood; son, Eric Paul Smith of Ft. Worth; four grandchildren, Jordan Pancake, Sloan Smith, Clarissa Campass, and Paige Smith; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Priscilla Skarda and husband Ron of Little Rock, Arkansas, Bobbie Sexton of Lamar, Arkansas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents.
