Margaret Ann “Maggie” Price Wright, 79, of Brownwood passed from this life on Friday, Dec. 6, 2019 at her home, surrounded by family.
Maggie was born July 19, 1940 in Gladewater, Texas to John S. Price and Margureite A. Malone Price.   Maggie grew up in west Texas and eloped with Lewis Earl Wright to be married on February 12, 1959.  “The Twelfth of Never” by Johnny Mathis was their song. She was greatly loved by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis and son Michael, two grandsons James and Jubal, as well as her parents and 2 siblings.

She is survived by her children:
Penny Tower and husband Micky of Lometa
Ivan Wright who cared for her
Melvin Wright and wife Lois “Tootsie” of Alvin
Pilar Roy and husband Mike of Brownwood

As well as 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

A memorial will be held on Dec. 21, 2019 from 11 am-3 pm at the Coliseum Annex, 110 S Greenleaf St, Brownwood, TX.

Cremation is under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.
