Brownwood News – The Brownwood ISD on Monday afternoon released an update on the district’s COVID-19 response.
FOOD SERVICE
Today, March 23, we served 978 meals to students! Thanks for working with us to help our kids! Breakfast pick-up (7:30-8:30), and lunch pick-up (12:00 – 1:00) continues all week at Brownwood High School, East Elementary School (shown in photo), and Northwest Elementary School.
INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIAL PICK-UP
Today we distributed instructional materials to our PK-8 students. The response was phenomenal! Check out the campus Facebook pages for pictures and campus-specific information. East Elementary and Woodland Heights Elementary traffic moved quickly. Coggin Intermediate and Northwest Elementary ran smoothly, but there were some traffic backups at certain points. We will work on alleviating these backups for future pick-up and drop-off times. Thanks to all for your patience and understanding. This is not how we want to have school, but our teachers worked hard to make the best of a bad situation. If you have suggestions or questions, please contact your campus via email or on Facebook. Watch our off-campus instruction (OCI) page (https://www.brownwoodisd.org/oci) for updates.
SENIORS
We would like to continue to celebrate our seniors! Please email your counselor a senior picture and let us know where you have been accepted. You can do this even if you have already taken your “I’m Going” picture. You can also fill out the form at https://bit.ly/2UwyD2H.
