Brownwood News –  On Wednesday, March 25, at approximately 6:00 pm, officers arrested Christopher Lee Nosek of Brownwood on multiple charges after several incidents that happened in Brownwood and Early.

On Thursday, March 27, with Nosek still in Brown County Jail, at approximately 1:30 pm the Early Police Department was notified by the victim that Nosek had allegedly been calling from the jail phones and continuously harassing the family members. Nosek had been issued an emergency protective order that morning at approximately 8:45 am by Judge Lee Haney.

According to Early Chief of Police, David Mercer, Nosek was warned by jail staff after the first phone call but continued to make calls and harass the victims. Officers then charged Nosek with violation of emergency protective order where he was booked in on the charge while still in jail.  Bond amount for all charges is $142,000, according to Brown County Jail records on Friday morning.
