The accident occurred shortly before 3:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.  The 53-year-old male driver was traveling in the northeast lanes of traffic when his Buick Regal struck the guardrail and overturned according to Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Chris Delgado.   The male was conscious as emergency responders arrived at the scene; however, his condition and the extent of his injuries were not reported at the scene.  Trooper Delgado stated that the male was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
