Auditions for the Brownwood Lyric Theatre’s production of Treasure Island will be held on Monday, April 25th starting at 6:30p.m. and lasting until approximately 8:30p.m. at the Howard Payne Theatre.
Treasure Island will be performed on May 23, 24, & 25 at 9:00a.m., 11:00a.m., and 1:00p.m. The play, an adaptation written by Max Bush from the beloved original novel by Robert Louis Stevenson in 1881, centers on the adventures of a young man, Jim Hawkins, as he travels from the safety of his home through perilous encounters with pirates on the high seas to Treasure Island!
Full of well known heroes and villains, including the legendary Long John Silver, the cast for the play will need 2-3 women and 7-8 men. All you need to bring with you to audition is yourself and your sense of adventure.
