Lyndall “Lyn” August Reiser, age 73, of Brownwood passed away Monday, January 16, 2017, at his home. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2017 at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
Lyndall August Reiser was born on October 16, 1943, to Frederick and Ruth (Richey) Reiser in Dallas, Texas. Lyn graduated from Kimball High School in 1962. He attended University of North Texas for two years before joining the Army Reserves from 1966 to 1968.
After the Army Reserves he worked as General Contractor for many years. He lived in Arlington from 1967-1989. Upon retirement he moved to Brownwood in 2000. Lyn loved his Lake Brownwood community and all the critters. He enjoyed gardening.
Lyn is survived by his daughter, Megan Cole of Grand Prairie; 2 grandsons, Ty and Alex Cole; brother, Frederick Reiser and wife Barbara of Denton; sister, Patricia Perez and husband Roger of Frisco; and 2 nephews, Jason and Patrick Perez. He was preceded in death by his parents.
