Monday started out with a surprise for McDonald’s employees and customers as the business received a bomb threat at the start of lunchtime.

Approximately 11:00, the busy restaurant was cleared of customers both inside the building as well as the parking lot.  Brownwood Fire and Police Departments responded to the scene and firefighters and officers searched the building and parking lot along with management, finding nothing out of the ordinary.  Shortly after the search, management received approval to reopen for business as usual.

A previous bomb threat occurred at this McDonald’s location on June 11, 2012.
