If you have an interest in learning more about yard trees then save the date of June 7th. That is the date of a Yard Tree Program. The program will be held at the Texas AgriLife located at 605 Fisk Avenue here in Brownwood. The program will be from 12 noon – 1:00p.m.. This program is actually the third one to be held in a series of Lunch – N – Learn horticultural programs.
Topics to be covered in the Yard Tree Program include selecting trees that will grow well in our area, taking care of your yard trees this summer, common tree problems and tips on trying to save your yard trees. The Yard Tree Program will be conducted by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service in association with the Brown County Master Gardener’s Association.
Mrs. Patricia Michael owner of Trees Forever Nursery will also be speaking at the program. This Yard Tree Program is open to anyone interested. There will be a $10 registration fee payable at the door by anyone who wants to attend any of the Lunch – N – Learn series programs and has not already paid the registration fee.
