AgriLifeExtensionThursday September 10th is the date of the next Lunch-N-Learn program in the series of horticultural programs planned for this year. This program will be on oak wilt in home landscapes. Renea Burks with the Texas Forest Service will present the program. It will be held from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Brown County Extension Office located at 605 Fisk Avenue in Brownwood, Texas.

Oak Wilt continues to cause problems in the local area even with all of the recent rain received. Dealing with the disease out in a rural pasture is one thing but it becomes more difficult in an urban setting such as a home landscape.

The September 10th noontime program is open to anyone interested. There will be a $10 registration fee payable at the door for those who have not previously paid the registration fee for the entire Lunch-N-Learn series. This will be the last Lunch-N-Learn for this year. For more information contact the Brown County Extension Office at 325-646-0386.
