The Annual Lunch-N-Learn series of horticultural noon time programs will begin on Thursday, April 9, 2015. The series of programs are being conducted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Brown County. The 2015 Lunch-N-Learn horticulture series include:
April 9th – Everything Tomatoes, Jana Hardwick, Hardwick Nursery
May 14th – Garden Pests, Dr. Charles Allen, Extension Entomology Department Head
June 11th – Organic in the Garden, Lady Bug Organics
July 9th – Oak Wilt in Town, Renea Burks, Texas Forest Service
September 10th – Fall Vegetable Gardening
Each program in the Lunch-N-Learn Series will be held from 12:00p.m.-1:00p.m. All programs will be held at the Brown County Extension Office located at 605 Fisk Avenue in Brownwood.The programs are open to anyone interested. There will be a $25 registration fee for the series or $10 per individual program payable at the door.
